Leo Yelizarov, DMD
Dr. Leo was born in August, 1958 in Baku city, former USSR. He graduated from High School in 1975. Dr. Leo continued his education at Azerbaijan State University for Medical/Dental training from 1975 -1980. He did his residency in periodontal and prosthodontic dentistry in the USSR and practiced as a general dentist from 1980 to 1990. After 10 years of practicing in the USSR, he and his family moved to the United States in December of 1990. Detroit, Michigan would be their new home. He studied from 1990 to 1991 to prepare for the necessary entrance exam for dental school. In August of 1992 he was accepted to Tufts University School of Dentistry in Boston for advanced dental study. He completed the 4 year program in 2 years and graduated in November of 1994. Dr. Leo started this practice in 1996 and went from 0 to in excess of 4000 patients in the span of 7 years. His passion for cosmetic and implant dentistry has allowed him to give people beautiful smiles and restore function in missing teeth. Dr. Leo also donates his time throughout the month at the Mansell Clinic downtown for the underprivileged that are in desperate need of dental care.
Dr. Leo is a registered member the Academy of General Dentistry, The Dental Organization of Conscience Sedation, (DOCS), Academy of Cosmetic and Implant Dentistry and the Alpha Omega Fraternity. In 1988, Dr. Leo penned a chapter in the Book of Periodontics regarding pre and post periodontal surgery with a unique red laser hand piece. He has also written numerous articles from 1985-2008 on oral health for various newsletters. He has logged over 2000 registered continuing education hours which qualifies him for Fellowship and Mastership in the Academy of Dentistry, attended extensive training in cosmetic/restorative dentistry and has been mentored by some of the finest clinicians in the country.
Dr. Leo was elevated to the Diplomate status, the highest status of Dental Implantology within the International Congress of Oral Implantologists (ICOI). Dr. Leo is one of 40 dentists in Georgia and one of only 450 Nationwide to receive this honor. He was awarded this high honor of Diplomate on August 24, 2007 at the ICOI World Congress XXV & 10th Annual IPS Symposium held in San Francisco, California.
The awarding to Diplomate status is the highest honor a professional society such as the ICOI can bestow on a dental professional involved in oral implantology. Nominees for Diplomate come from two sources: ICOI Vice Presidents may nominate such individuals for approval by the Board of Directors and the Diplomate Committee. Such candidates are chosen from amongst those who have most significantly contributed to the art and science of oral implantology. The ICOI also conducts a Diplomate program in which active members are encouraged to achieve Diplomate status through their efforts in education, research and actual clinical experience. All Diplomate of the ICOI may designate "D.I.C.O.I.” after their names.
Dr. Leo and his family reside in Alpharetta. His wife Diana holds a MBA and Masters Degree in Economics in the Petroleum and Oil Industry. She also Minors in Computer Programming. He has two children, Yuri and Kamilla. Yuri graduated from the GA Institute of Technology with a BS in Electrical Engineering. He is curently a certified Patent Agent and is completing his last year of Law School at GA State University. Dr. Leo's daughter Kamilla is graduating from GA State University with a Bachelor of Arts in Design.

Panida Nasseh, DDS
Dr. Panida Nasseh completed her undergraduate studies at the Georgia Institute of Technology in 1998, where she received her B.S. in Biology, graduating with Honors. She continued her graduate work at Georgia Tech as well, receiving a M.S. in Applied Biology in 1999. She also holds a certificate in Industrial and Social Psychology from Georgia Tech.
Following her studies, Dr. Nasseh did research in the field of Geriatric Medicine at Emory University School of Medicine and the Atlanta VA Hospital. Dr. Nasseh received her D.D.S. from Columbia University College of Dental Medicine in New York in 2006. While at Columbia, Dr. Nasseh was a member of the William Jarvie Research Society, Student Government, New York State Dental Association, and the American Student Dental Association. After graduating from Dental School, Dr. Nasseh further increased her proficiency in dentistry by completing a General Practice Residency in 2007 at Mt. Sinai Hospital in New York. Since then, Dr. Nasseh has enjoyed practicing in the Atlanta area. Dr. Nasseh is an active member of the American Dental Association, Georgia Dental Association and Academy of General Dentistry.
Juan, Practice Manager/Treatment Coordinator
Juan is our Practice Manager. Initially starting as a dental assistant, Juan showed his leadership qualities by bringing innovative and successful ideas to our practice. As a result, in just over a year, Juan accepted an opportunity to grow from dental assistant position to our Practice Manager. Having been a dentist in his homeland Colombia (graduating from the Autonomous University of Colombia in 1995), Juan well able to help patients understand the treatment options and to guide them towards a healthy, beautiful smile. Juan is a very enthusiastic, optimistic person and is always willing to answer any questions regarding your dental needs, as well as any financial arrangements you may need.
Diana, Business Administrator
Diana has worked behind the scenes as our business administrator and computer specialist for over 15 years. She holds a MBA in Business Administration, MS in Economics in Petroleum and Oil Industry. She also Minors in Computer Programming and Network Specialist. Dina shows extensive knowledge and training ability regarding the internal communications and state of the art technology, that allows us to take better care of our patients.
Ferun, Treatment Coordinator
Ferun is the first smiling face you will see when you enter our office. She has a business management degree from Tri-State University in Indiana. With over 8 years of experience caring for medical and dental patients, she will help you coordinate your treatment with whatever financial assistance you may need. She works closely with Dr. Leo to coordinate your treatment and help arrange any financial assistance you may need.
Sabina, Appoitment/Insurance Coordinator
With over 8 years of experience in dentistry and 6 years as a dental assistant, Sabina's knowledge of dentistry allows her to work efficiantly with patients to schedule appointments. She also works directly with insurance companies to make sure our patients receive maximum benefits.
Ilvana, Dental Hygienist
With over10 years of experience in dentistry and 2 years as a registered dental hygienist, Ilvana has perfected a thorough technique and gentle touch that will keep you smiling. To ensure your comfort and peace of mind, she is CPR-certified and well qualified to administer and monitor local anesthesia and nitrous oxide. Monique also has an extended understanding of "specialized" care in cosmetic and implant dentistry, having practiced in those fields before.
Beth, Dental Hygienist
Now in her 18th year, Beth’s career as a registered dental hygienist started in 1994 when she graduated from Tallahassee Community College. Since then, she has been certified to perform CPR as well as administer and monitor local anesthesia and nitrous oxide. Her gentle touch and compassion leave patients feeling extremely comfortable and fully assured that they are in good hands.
Jenny, Dental Assistant
Jenny has worked as a certified expanded duties dental assistant for over 25 years. Her certifications include CPR, OSHA and radiation. Through her extensive knowledge and training, Jenny is able to focus on patients, and she always makes a special effort to keep you comfortable and at ease during your dental treatment, as well as answer any clinical questions you may have regarding your care.
